OBJECTIVES

Not just a simple statement. 

But tangible results, for the monument and for the community. Not just a promise. But rather an assumed plan.


HOW?

Goal nr. 1: We are reducing economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area because this project will allow an exchange of savoir-faire between partners.
• Establishing good practices between the project partners on a public and private level, especially between Romanians and Norwegians. 
• Implementing activities that are unique locally, by making a digital application and introducing innovative techniques.
• By initiating new perspectives on similar projects that contribute to the reduction of economic and social disparities in the European area. 

Goal nr. 2: We strengthen bilateral relations between donor and beneficiary states.
• We develope new and strong relationships with our partners in Norway. We aim to develop long-term partnership relations that materialize through activities, events and development projects with social, economic and cultural impact in the area of Hunedoara and in the Western Region.

what our specific goals are:
1. Cultural and economic revaluation of the UNESCO historical heritage through the restoration of the Sarmizegetusa Regia Fortress, leading to an increase in the number of visitors by 30%, in a period of 43 months. 
2. Revitalising the local cultural patrimony of Sarmizegetusa Fortress in a period of 38 months by implementing a plan for the revival and relaunch of traditional crafts. We do this by arranging an attractive exhibition area where monuments and fragments of archaeological interest are exhibited and there, we're organizing six educational demonstrations of forgery workshops, two craft fairs and summer archaeology schools, and by organizing a training course called Heritage Protectors.
3. Strengthening the collaboration between UAT HUNEDOARA COUNTY and project partners by exchanging information, experience and taking part in joint activities for a period of 43 months. The transfer of information between partners is made during 3 meetings with the purpose of sharing experiences within the project team, 4 seminars and a study visit involving the network of the project team. These events bring extra value by knowing the specific expert study of the partners.
