As we told you, until the restoration works of the Sarmizegetusa Regia site begin, we will continue to talk about the characteristics of the archaeological architecture of Sarmizegetusa Regia, to understand what this process entails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


In its preserved form, Sarmizegetusa Regia fortress was built in the Roman Era after the dismantling of the Dacian fortification.\nCharacteristics of the fortress:

Characteristics of the fortress: <\/strong>
1. Accesul se face prin trei deschideri – Poarta de Vest, care se presupune c\u0103 reprezenta accesul principal, Poarta de Est, care f\u0103cea leg\u0103tura cu zona sacr\u0103 \u0219i Poarta de Vest \u0219i poarta de Sud care avea rol secundar.
2. Walls between 3 and 4 meters thick, made of two facings consisting of scattered stone blocks, reinforced with wooden beams (identified through archaeological research of the year 2021).
3. \u00cen zona Por\u021bii de Est a fost descoperit\u0103 o suprafa\u021b\u0103 considerabil\u0103 din drumul pavat – calea sacr\u0103 antic\u0103.
4. The site is located on a prolonged mountain ridge with man-made terraces arranged on steep slopes since the Dacian era, surface crossed by small springs and deciduous forests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
