This is an absolutely natural question when you talk about aspects that are not related to teaching and the didactic act, in general. But education is about learning and learning is not only done in the formal setting of educational institutions. Learning is of many types and the coming generations find it much easier to learn experientially, by doing and not just by learning, on a cognitive level. In fact, this is how we all learn better and remembering becomes experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beginning of winter found me in Coste\u0219ti, at the Lupul Dacic Guesthouse, learning new things together with well-known people of the area. Alone in the field of education, I learned together with these wonderful fellow learners and Caroline and Leo (and then the team from MET who joined) about how we promote local heritage values \u200b\u200band last but not least, UNESCO heritage values .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remember Leo and a picture of him that he projected for us in the workshop \u2013 a photo in which he was in Or\u0103\u0219tie at an intersection where there were 3 signs to UNESCO heritage sites. Yes, in Or\u0103\u0219tie! I also relive this image, often passing through that intersection on my way to school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn't know much about Sarmizegetusa until then. I only knew that it was a place where students go on vacations or with the school, on thematic trips. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I then learned, from the visit to the site with the group, during the workshop, that things are much more complex and that you have to look for the information and pass it on, especially if you are a teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am descoperit de la profesori arheologi din zon\u0103 c\u0103 sunt elevi de la Liceul Teoretic \u201dAurel Vlaicu\u201d care, \u00een verile toride, stau \u0219i ajut\u0103 exper\u021bii \u00een situri, contribuind \u0219i ei la marile descoperiri… Astfel, am aflat de Tudor din XII-a B (recomandat fiindu-i de profesorul arheolog al sitului s\u0103 se \u00eendrepte spre meseria de arheolog pentru c\u0103 \u201dare o m\u00e2n\u0103 fin\u0103 \u0219i documenteaz\u0103 ca un expert\u201d ), de Nicolae dintr-a XI-a A sau de Mimi, dintr-a IX-a. Adolescen\u021bi care din curiozitate ajut\u0103 la descoperiri extraordinare. Zi de zi, a\u0219tept\u00e2nd, s\u0103 se reveleze \u0219i mai mult din situl care ne surprinde mereu cu bog\u0103\u021bia lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop was a real context for creating friendships and discovering resource people to bring you closer to the truth of places.
