Whether it is the approval of all written materials from the project, from brochures to the website
and certain posts to flyers, or whether it is the restoration works, we had the guidance of the
scientific team of the Sarmizegetusa Regia archaeological site, first of all Mr. Răzvan Mateescu -
head of excavations at Sarmizegetusa Regia, and Mr. Cătălin Cristescu - Scientific researcher at
the Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilisation, Deva.
The project team has worked closely with the members of the archaeological team since before
the start of the project, to ensure that the best specialists in the field review all materials and
information in our project.
The project team wishes to thank at this moment to all the collaborators within the scientific team
for the professional way in which they were involved in every part of the project: in addition to
the aforementioned, they accompanied us in the guided tours for our workshop participants of
the Heritage Protectors interactive training, to oversee how the IT application in the project came
into being. A great effort on the part of our fellow archaeologists without who the project would
not have had the value and expertise it currently demonstrates.
