Here you see us on the first day from Little Archaeologist Summer School - 2nd Editionfrom Costești, within our project. We made friends, learned about the activities ahead and split into teams. The summer school is organized by our project partners, the Mihai Eminescu Trust.

The topics covered in the summer school are: Topic 1 "Introduction to archaeology", Topic 2 "The first excavation", Topic 3 "Stratigraphy and artefacts", Topic 4 "Archaeological documentation of traces of a stone construction", Topic 5 "Documentation of discoveries ”, Topic 6 “Recording Ceramic Artifacts by Drawing: Stages and Methods”. Another educational component included in the project was the holding of a series of non-formal education workshops, which would contribute to a better understanding of the history of the Sarmizegetusa archaeological site by the students of the commune and by the other participants.
