The second edition of the "Little Archaeologist" Summer School took place between July 31 and August 6, 2023. 32 children from Orăștioara de Sus, Beriu, Deva, Petroșani, and Sighisoara participated in this edition. They were coordinated and supervised by 2 teachers from the schools of origin, 2 summer school coordinators from the National History Museum of Transylvania, Cluj-Napoca, and medical staff from the County Sports and Youth Directorate, Hunedoara. The Summer School program included theoretical and practical activities on archeology, as well as visits to archaeological sites in the Orăștiei Mountains. The program also included a series of recreational activities, competitions and team games, which helped to unite a core of young people interested in archaeology.
